Sustainability Intern

Dewberry is currently seeking a Sustainability Intern for our Parsippany, NJ office. The right individual will have a thorough understanding of sustainability concepts and how they apply to real world solutions. The individual will be able to effectively use critical thinking and problem-solving to brainstorm solutions and develop innovative ideas. This position will support an interdisciplinary team of  scientists, engineers, and planners in preparing products for clients in various sectors. The individual will also support Dewberry’s corporate sustainability efforts.

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Planning, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or other related field.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Ability to be self-motivated and function in a team environment.
• Knowledge of and ability to use basic computer applications as well as ArcGIS, and other similar tools.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
