Job Description

Dewberry's Raleigh, NC office is seeking an Entry Level Designer/Technician. Candidates should possess a 2-year technical degree and 0-3 years of experience working within a consulting engineering firm with design experience in electrical, mechanical or plumbing (MEP) systems.

Responsibilities

Design of MEP systems. The position also requires a strong technical background, excellence in design and attention-to-detail and quality control.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • 2-year technical degree from an accredited university is preferred.
  • Applicants should have a minimum of 0-3 year’s direct experience in related engineering design, strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate the work of multiple disciplines.
  • Conduct site visits and field inspections of MEP systems.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD or other Modeling software and good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required. 
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.
