Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Client Relations Manager focused on Resilience and Environmental to join any one of our offices that is located within the Northwest Gulf Coast Region.

 

Come join Dewberry’s multi-disciplinary team of professionals as a Senior Client Relations Manager playing a key role in growing our resilience and environmental services. In this role, the person will have responsibilities that include business development, client relationship management, project management, leadership, and sales. Candidates must have a proven track record of successful project management and sustaining strong client relationships. The individual selected for this position will work closely with Dewberry’s market sectors focused on resilience, environmental, water resources, and hazard mitigation, and will have opportunities to support Dewberry projects in other markets.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate will serve as a senior client relations manager growing relationships across the northwest gulf coast region in a variety of market sectors including, but not limited to, resilience and environmental.
  • Work responsibilities may include:
    • Managing, leading, executing, and providing technical support for resilience and environmental projects within the municipal, regional, and Federal markets.
    • Leading the development or implementation of climate adaptation and resilience plans, strategies, and similar policy initiatives.
    • Communicating with clients, establishing goals and objectives, and scheduling and coordinating resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the performance expectations of the client.
    • Participation in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentation, as well as developing scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for various projects.
    • Supporting business growth goals; winning new resilience and environmental projects and adding new clients.
    • Travel to and from in-person meetings on a frequent basis, in Florida and Alabama.
    • Other duties, as assigned.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • BS degree in climate science, natural environmental science, or related field, with emphasis in resilience and environmental; Masters’ degree and/or PhD in similar field preferred.
  • At least 20 years of professional experience in resilient infrastructure and environmental planning and design.
  • Nature-based mitigation design experience in urban, rural, and coastal landscapes.
  • At least 5 years of independent client management skills.
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills with clients in the northwest gulf coast region are required, as this is a position requiring the individual to manage clients.
