Job Description

Dewberry | Preble-Rish is currently seeking a Project Manager in our North Central Florida office.  Projects will include site/civil design as well as horizontal and vertical road alignments, drainage systems, storm water management, utility relocations, and preparation of contract documents.

Responsibilities

  • Project management of transportation and site/civil projects.

  • Daily supervision of support staff and document production.

  • Monitoring budgets and schedules.

  • Assisting with and collaboration with team members on the marketing of new projects.

  • Assisting with the preparation of proposals.

  • Interfacing regularly with clients.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years experience with emphasis in roadway and site/civil design.
  • P.E. license in Florida or have P.E. license from another state with ability to obtain.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD (Civil 3D) for design activities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as work effectively as a team member.
  • Must be able to work early or late to attend client or regulatory meetings as needed.
