Dewberry is seeking an energetic architect student intern with 0-1 years of experience to join the Sacramento, CA office.
This position works under close supervision of the Project Architect/Manager. Receives specific and detailed instructions regarding tasks. Performs work efforts in a timely and complete manner. Takes the initiative to either work out or research a work effort. Understands his/her capabilities and when to seek help from mentors. Has skills in performing renderings and other design type functions. Has a strong understanding of CADD and other project software. Qualified candidates should exhibit strong organizational, conceptual design, and good oral and written communication skills. Candidates should also possess a positive attitude, an outstanding work ethic and be team-oriented.
Must be pursuing a professional degree, Bachelor of Architecture or Masters of Architecture from an accredited university. Candidate must be proficient in REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office. Digital and traditional rendering abilities and graphic experience a plus. Preferably LEED AP and knowledge of sustainable design principles.
