Our Richmond, VA office is seeking a mechanical engineer, who will be responsible for the design of mechanical (HVAC, plumbing and fire protection) building systems as a part of a project team and under the supervision of a senior engineer. Experience in the design of institutional, educational, healthcare, laboratory and military projects is desired. The candidate should have a proven track record of solid design work, meeting project deadlines and budgets, and working well in a team environment.
The ideal candidate is striving toward an independent design role, project management opportunities, and / or technical subject matter expertise. The candidate should either be licensed as a PE, or have an EI and be working toward licensure.
ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Self-motivated and well organized.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
