Under an open-end A/E technical assistance contract, Dewberry is providing field assessments, engineer evaluations inspections of damaged public infrastructure, cost estimates, mitigation project evaluation, debris monitoring, environmental services, and design services on an on-call basis in the wake of natural and man-made disasters, including acts of terrorism on behalf of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) throughout the United States including the Caribbean and Pacific territories.
Dewberry is currently searching for highly qualified Environmental Specialists for our on-call team. Candidates selected must be U.S. Citizens and able to successfully pass a Federal background investigation, to include financial and criminal history. Successful candidates must be able to commit to a 3-6 month assignment in remote locations working in excess of 50 hours per week.
Environmental Specialists will serve as technical specialists involved in complex environmental programs that might include a variety of controversial and non-controversial components. Specialists will plan, coordinate, monitor, conduct, and complete environmental reviews for FEMA funded projects under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and all other applicable environmental and preservation laws, executive orders, regulations and other statutes.
