Senior Electrical Engineer
The Bloomfield, NJ office of Dewberry is looking for a motivated Senior Electrical Engineer. Qualified candidates should have a solid background in traffic signal design and implementation, electrical design, and roadway and outdoor lighting. Proficiency in the use of the National Electric Code, AASHTO Roadway Lighting Design Criteria, and associated design manuals is expected. Experience in the planning, engineering and design of ITS systems including communications and protocols (TCP/IP, IPv6), wireless communications, surveillance and detection, including video imaging, microwave/radar detection, and roadway sensors is desirable.
Capacity to independently prepare Intersection and Traffic Signal and/or Roadway Lighting designs and familiarity with one or more NJDOT, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, PANYNJ, NJTA or TBTA design standards and practices is preferred. Good oral and written skills are a necessity.
