Dewberry is seeking a Construction Inspector to conduct inspections on various types of civil, environmental, and construction design projects between our Panama City, Blountstown and Port St. Joe, FL offices. These projects include water distribution/pumping facilities, wastewater collection systems, treatment plants, large transmission mains, stormwater systems, structural projects, dredge and fill projects, boat ramps, bridge projects, pipe placement, road resurfacing, new road construction, and subdivisions.
The ideal applicant will have two years of related experience and an understanding of the construction manuals, standards and specifications, and general construction practices associated with FDOT projects. This position entails both field and office assignments along with limited travel within the following counties (Bay, Calhoun, Jackson, Walton, Washington and Gulf) areas. Applicant should be qualified in roadway, underground utilities, and concrete.
