Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer Intern to join our Transportation group in our Mt. Laurel, NJ office. Responsibilities

Individual will assist on facets of highway engineering including design of horizontal and vertical alignments, drainage systems, traffic signal systems, utility relocations, development of maintenance and protection of traffic schemes, and preparation of right of way and contract plans for a variety of project types and clients. Individual may also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Pursuing a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis  in transportation)
  • 0-2 years experience; previous internship experience preferred
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD, MicroStation preferred)
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) is preferred
