Job Description

Dewberry’s Disaster Recovery Services Team is looking for an experienced individual to provide Program Management, Project Management and technical support for a broad range of Emergency Management Services (Preparedness, Response, Recovery, and Mitigation) and related work for existing and future FEMA, USACE, and other federal, state, and local clients. The position is based in our Fairfax, Virginia office and requires travel in response to disaster activities nationwide.

Responsibilities

Working directly with our management and technical teams to:

  • Execute projects as a technical specialist, task manager, and project manager.
  • Manages staff, subcontractors, budgets/invoicing/collections, quality, and client relationships
  • Develops client relationships to advance project and business development opportunities.
  • Performs business development and proposal preparation responsibilities

Required Skills & Required Experience

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a four year degree
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience related to position
  • Knowledge of federal agency programs, programmatic rules and regulations and experience completing work in/for various federal agencies
  • Knowledge of and experience in Emergency Management operations as it relates to the disaster preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation cycle.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a remote, multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills
