Dewberry is currently seeking an Executive Assistant to join our office to support our Chairman and Chairman Emeritus and Founder to perform a variety of administrative functions in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high- quality administrative and clerical assistance to top- level executives.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate daily calendars
  • Plan appointments, meetings and events
  • Manage phone calls and e-mails
  • Compose memos and write correspondence/meeting minutes
  • Make travel arrangements, including travel for board members
  • Liaison with the Board of Directors, arrange all meetings, travel and responsible for all general correspondence.
  • Coordinate and track efforts for critical projects for both internal and external parties

Required Skills & Required Experience

Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional environment.
  • Proven work experience as an Executive Assistant. Experience working in an Engineering or Architectural firm is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills surrounding customer relations and supporting others are required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience writing short hand strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • This position requires flexibility in order to respond to various tasks and changing demands.
  • The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, strong sense of professionalism, as well as the ability to take initiative.
