    Dewberry is currently seeking an Architectural CADD Technician to support our Danville, VA office. The CADD Technician will work in a multi-disciplined team environment with other CADD technicians, designers, and professional architects and engineers to prepare construction drawings. Drafting will include the use of Autodesk REVIT software to generate construction documents for a variety of project types.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • High school diploma required.
    • Two year Associate degree in drafting preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience performing similar work in an architectural and/or engineering field is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Revit software for BIM is required.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs especially Word and Excel.
    • Ability to follow basic CAD standards and learn in-house standards.
    • Ability to draw plans efficiently and accurately using AutoCAD and REVIT.
    • Good written and oral communication abilities.
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple types of disciplines.
    • Must be highly organized, self-motivated and meticulous with details.
