Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator/Proposal Coordinator for proposal efforts based in our Richmond, VA office. This position requires a marketing background in the A/E businesses.


  • Work in tandem with a Marketing Manager to develop proposal responses.
  • Responsible for a variety of proposal types including state and local proposals, DGS AE submittals, design-build proposals, technical proposals, qualification packages, and preparing content for oral presentations.
  • Comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style for all presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.
  • Prepare marketing collateral including brochures and project sheets.
  • Support business development and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.
  • Organize marketing material for ease of use.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • B.A. or B.S. in Liberal Arts or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience personally developing and producing proposals.
  • Experience with federal and state/local proposal formats.
  • Must have MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe InDesign experience. CRM database experience is also desired.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Effective proposal coordination skills, including planning, organization, communication, and resource management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage time appropriately. Must be available to work overtime as necessary in order to meet business requirements.
