Dewberry is currently looking for an Energy Solutions BAS/Automation Engineer to join our Energy Solutions Group. Significant tasks include designing, reviewing, estimating and purchasing BAS and Automation systems, related components, and incorporating them into Energy Solution projects, or on a standalone basis.
Ability to effectively interact at all levels of an organization and effectively communicate with high profile customers.
Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in technical discipline specific to HVAC and building automation.
Certifications and training the following, Niagara v3 v4, Automated Logic, American Auto-Matrix, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or other manufacturer specific systems.
Experience, knowledge or training in Microsoft Networks, html, Ethernet/IP, and cybersecurity.
Demonstrated experience with HVAC Control, BAS, Energy Management systems and software is a MUST.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be highly proficient with a PC including the Microsoft Applications and project management applications/packages (MS Project and other risk management tools) and risk management tools.
Experience with MS Visio strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel ~ 25%.
Must be US Citizen.
Minimum 5 years of experience.
Ability to pass Security screening, background check and hold appropriate Govt. clearances.
Must possess strong leadership competencies and willingness to collaborate and work cross functionally to maximize business results and positive customer experiences.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills and strong business acumen – including ability to effectively apply risk management tools/logic to various phases of a project.
Must possess a strong interpersonal style and approach that earns customer trust and builds creditability while also getting strong performance of subcontractors and others involved in the fulfillment of a project.
Must be strong supporter and advocate of the Eaton Vision, Values, and Work Philosophies – and demonstrate this in daily actions and interactions.
