Group Leader of Infrastructure Engineering – Civil, Bridge and Highway
Dewberry has an opportunity for an experienced Department Manager to lead the combined Civil/Highway and Bridge design groups in our New York City, NY office. This individual will lead a group of 30-35 engineers who provide professional services to numerous public agencies, leading the office’s practice in highway, street and bridge design. This group leader of infrastructure engineering’s main responsibilities are to lead the combined group of highway and bridge staff, conduct aggressive and targeted business development activities to grow the group, winning projects of increasing complexity, and to act as a Project Manager for very large or mega projects that require seasoned management skills. Typical projects in the group involve city, state and regional clients in the transportation and transit market segments. The selected individual will be heavily involved in staff professional development, growth, retention and recruiting, significantly contribute to sales and revenue generation of the branch’s various infrastructure practices and act as client manager of several public agencies.
