Dewberry's Energy Solutions team is looking for an HVAC TAB Technician for its Raleigh, NC office.
Ideal candidate will be responsible for performing testing and balancing of HVAC systems in new and existing facilities. Works with Engineers and Construction Managers in executing assigned projects. Works independently and within groups both in the office and in the field. Works from engineering documents to achieve quality delivery of a total system balance
Responsibilities:
Required Skills & Required Experience:
Ability to effectively interact at all levels of an organization and effectively communicate with high profile clients.
HVAC Testing and Balancing Certification by NEBB or AABC.
Experience with BAS and energy projects, facility engineering, HVAC, Automated controls and/or construction/renovation projects is required.
Commissioning experience is preferred.
Experience documenting via NEBB or AABC standard documents, drawings and report forms.
Project Management Software, MS Project, Deltek Vision, or similar.
Demonstrated experience with HVAC Control, BAS, Energy Management systems and software is a MUST.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be highly proficient with a PC including the Microsoft Applications and project management applications/packages (MS Project and other risk management tools) and risk management tools.
Willingness to travel.
Must possess a strong interpersonal style and approach that earns client trust and builds creditability while also getting strong performance of subcontractors and others involved in the fulfillment of a project.
Must be strong supporter and advocate of the Dewberry Vision, Values, and Work Philosophies – and demonstrate this in daily actions and interactions.
