    Dewberry is seeking an energetic interior design student intern with 0-1 years of experience to join our Peoria, IL or Elgin, IL office.

     

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    This position works under close supervision of the Project Architect/Manager.  Receives specific and detailed instructions regarding tasks.  Performs work efforts in a timely and complete manner.  Takes the initiative to either work out or research a work effort.  Understands his/her capabilities and when to seek help from mentors.  Has skills in performing renderings and other design type functions.  Has a strong understanding of CADD and other project software.  Qualified candidates should exhibit strong organizational, conceptual design, and good oral and written communication skills.  Candidates should also possess a positive attitude, an outstanding work ethic and be team-oriented.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    Must be pursuing a professional degree from an accredited university.  Candidate should have experience in REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office.  Digital and traditional rendering abilities and graphic experience a plus.  Preferably LEED AP and knowledge of sustainable design principles.
