    Dewberry is seeking a senior bridge engineer with 15-25 years of experience working with a variety of clients including MDOT (SHA and MDTA) to work in its Owings Mills, MD Office.  The candidate will design bridges and a variety of civil structures (primarily of steel and concrete construction) and a variety of transportation related structures (retaining walls, sign structures and other miscellaneous structures) using applicable software.  The candidate will be involved in and complete all phases of structural project development including planning, scheduling, inspection as required, analysis, design and technical specifications and reports.  The candidate will work with a team of multi-disciplined engineers and drafters.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • This position requires a BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred);
    • MD PE license is required or ability to obtain within 6 months; 
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience working on bridge transportation projects;
    • Sound oral and written communication skills;
    • Proficiency using CADD (MicroStation);
    • Desire to work in a team environment.
