Dewberry is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for our Raleigh, NC office.
Manage complex projects involving HVAC systems, Piping, Pumps, refrigeration/DX, Air Handlers, VAV’s and Lab systems. Project types are HVAC Design, Design-Build, Commissioning, Retro-Commissioning, and Ongoing commissioning projects. This a key client-facing role which requires agile learning, good judgement, and personal style that conveys confidence to our clients. The position requires a broad and extensive knowledge base of Building Automation, Psychrometrics, Design Methods, building codes, HVAC applications, and Control sequences. You will utilize spreadsheets (MS Excel), energy modeling software, and Project Management software, as well as various other tools and techniques. Metering, Instrumentation, field control device knowledge are also elements of the work.
The position requires the ability to write technical documents, field reports, engineering assessments clearly and effectively.
Experience with field measurement, (TAB) equipment, it’s uses and applications, and associated reports is a plus.
