Dewberry is currently seeking a part-time Geospatial Application Developer to be part of our Fairfax, VA office. This individual will support geospatial applications development to support water resource engineering services. Join one of the leading organizations developing innovative solutions for federal, state, and local government clients.
Participate in requirements and design of geospatial applications, including documentation of needs and proposed architecture
Development of web, mobile, and desktop geospatial applications
Prepare technical documents and reports for management
Coordinate on a regular basis with Dewberry’s Project Managers on system requirements, design and solution alternatives analysis.
Masters and PhD degrees are preferred
A minimum of 4 years of experience with geospatial development/ engineering
Knowledge of geospatial web services, including WCS, WMS, WFS, and Esri web services.
Extensive experience with the following ESRI products: ArcObjects, ArcGIS, ArcServer, ArcIMS, ArcSDE, and ArcEngine.
Strong writing and verbal communication
