     Dewberry’s is seeking a Department Manager/Senior Project Manager for the Parsippany, NJ Environmental Services Branch to assist in the daily oversight, management and growth of our environmental consulting practice serving a broad range of clients in the Northeastern US and New England region.  



    • Suppervise Environmental Planners and demonstrate prior experience:   
      • evaluating baseline environmental conditions
      • predicting and analyzing the effects of proposed actions on the environment
      • identifying potential mitigation techniques and alternatives
      • designing environmental studies and investigations.
    • It is expected that the successful candidate  previously served as the principal author or supervised the production of at least one NEPA EA and FONSI or EIS/ROD prepared for a federal agency. Experience with SEQR, CEQR, Section 106 is preferred.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Planning or Urban Planning
      • 15+ years of environmental consulting/regulatory experience working in multiple jurisdictions
    • PE or AICP professional registration desirable
    • Experience in managing transportation planning studies
    • Knowledge of State DOT and Federal policies
    • Ability to prepare proposals and letters of interest
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work in a team environment
