Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join our Transportation department in our Raleigh or Charlotte, NC office to work on a variety of projects for clients. The Senior Planner will serve as project manager and client contact for transportation and other planning projects, with responsibility for overseeing project schedule and budget. This person will also assist with the development of project proposals and letters of interest and assist in other marketing efforts as necessary.
Qualified candidates must have the ability to manage and coordinate assignments with a multi-disciplinary team, and write NEPA compliance documents (including CE’s, EA’s, and EIS’s) and feasibility studies for transportation projects. Additional experience in preparation of community studies documentation (community impact assessments, indirect and cumulative effects assessments) is a plus. Experience in Microstation and ArcGIS is preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
