    Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Environmental Engineer to join our environmental group in our Parsippany, NJ office.     Responsibilities

    • The candidate will perform a variety of environmental support functions for assignments in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
    • The Environmental Engineer must be flexible, client focused and capable of working under the supervision of project managers.
    • The work required is diverse and ranges from general field support to technical work that requires strong communication and organization skills.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub-consultants, and county/agency review staff, as well as have the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
    • Expected to work in a timely fashion to meet project, client, and/or regulatory deadlines and project budgets. 
    • Responsible for composing technical reports, memorandums, and other written documents.

     

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering required.
    • 0-2 years of experience
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Access
    • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
    • Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation, and/or ARcGIS; Bentley software products a plus
    • Current OSHA 40-hr certification and/or other applicable certification also a plus.
