    Dewberry has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions and Design-Build Team in our Raleigh, NC office.  Broad  experience in building electrical distribution systems including low voltage, power, lighting and lighting controls and fire alarm required. Experience in telecommunications, small cell, DAS and networks would be a plus  The position requires a strong technical background, excellence in design and attention to detail and quality control.  Ability to manage design deliverables and design schedules is a key requirement.  

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering required.
    • 3 years or more of direct electrical engineering experience in:  Lighting systems, circuit layout, load calculations, and emergency/standby  power.  Telecom or low voltage and control systems is plus.
    • Professional Engineering License in one or more of the following states:  NC, SC, FL, VA
    • Communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
    • Ability to coordinate the work of multiple disciplines.
    • Prepare electrical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, project schedules and cost estimates to meet project requirements.
    • Proficiency in Auto CAD, Bluebeam, and good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required. 
    • Valid Driver’s License  Background Check is required..
