    Marketing Manager

     

    Dewberry’s Boston office seeks a highly qualified marketing professional to support its team of infrastructure engineers in prepositioning and securing work from new and existing clients in the municipal and private sectors. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, market-focused professional who understands deadline-driven work, and is a self-starter who can work both independently and within a team environment.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Working in tandem with seller-doers to determine pursuit win strategies, identify client gaps, craft sales messages, identify and articulate graphic design requirements, and help assemble pursuit teams.
    • Supporting and participating in external industry networking, client relationship management and teaming efforts.
    • Managing Dewberry coordination/branding with several industry organizations. Coordinating presence at and participation in industry conferences. Attending conferences as necessary and developing relationships with clients.
    • Managing preparation of proposals and presentations from the initial stage to final production and delivery, including working with PMs to strategically team for opportunities.
    • Working with branch leadership to develop annual marketing plans, implement pursuit win strategies, appropriately incorporate sales messages, and produce professional brochures, proposals, and oral presentations.
    • Coordinating efforts and utilizing Dewberry’s corporate communications group to realize public relations objectives, such as article placement and press releases.
    • Complying with Dewberry corporate standards to present a consistent appearance and style for all external marketing communications, including project descriptions, qualification packages, presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and brochures with input from multiple managers and on schedule.
    • Writing sales materials including project descriptions and resumes.
    • Track and trend the quality of their individual performance, products and services in order to strive for continuous improvement.
    • Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.
    • Managing multiple proposal efforts simultaneously.
    • Managing time appropriately with flexibility to work overtime to meet pursuit deadlines.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • BA or BS degree required.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in A/E/C industry required.
    • Strong interpersonal skills required.
    • Proficiency with InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
    • Understanding of corporate communications and social media strategies preferred.
    • Excellent writing skills required.
    • Time management skills required.
    • Familiarity with Deltek Vision or similar CRM system preferred.
    • Active network within New England municipal leadership is preferred.
