    Survey Technician

     

    Dewberry is currently looking for a Survey Technician to perform a variety of tasks associated with land surveying and civil engineering in our Mount Laurel, NJ office.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare ALTA / NSPS Land Title Surveys, Green Acres/SADC and Boundary Surveys
    • Prepare Topographic, Hydrographic, Cross Sections (Plan and Profile)
    • Prepare Wetlands, Tree  & Channel Surveys
    • Prepare FAA/1A or 2C certifications
    • Prepare FEMA flood certifications
    • Perform Title Report Review and prepare Deed Mosaics
    • Perform Courthouse research (deeds/filed maps/surrogate)
    • Assisting with survey computations
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • A minimum of 3+ years of survey experience as a survey technician
    • AutoCAD, Carlson, Civil 3D is required, Microstation, In-Roads experience is a plus
    • Ability to work remotely under rigorous conditions
    • Familiarity with GPPM’s, IPM’s & ETM’s, construction plans and RW maps a plus
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Must be reliable
    • Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains.
    • Ability to repetitively stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools and boxes, in addition to ability to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces

    Additional Requirements:

    • Have the ability to work out of town, flexible with work area
    • Must have and maintain a clean driver’s license in order to operate company vehicle
    • Must be able to pass drug/alcohol screening
    • Must be able to pass a background check
