    Dewberry is currently seeking a Capture/Proposal Manager focusing on large, complex federal pursuit/proposal efforts. This position requires a marketing and federal background in the management consulting and A/E businesses.


    • Proposal Manager will work in tandem with business development and operations personnel to help assemble pursuit teams and develop branded, compliant proposals in the federal marketplace.
    • Responsible for full life cycle of the proposal preparation process, including strategy development; market, client and teaming research; messaging and win theme development; schedule development and review; proposal / technical writing and editing; compliance; color team reviews; presentation review and interview support; conducting debriefs; and team coordination.
    • Responsible for range of federal proposal types, including SF330s, SF33s/best value, technical proposals, business proposals, qualification packages and oral presentations.
    • Support execution of federal marketing campaigns, including external communications and conferences
    • Comply with our corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style for all presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.
    • Write supporting sales materials including project descriptions, resumes, service line overviews, and executive summaries, etc.
    • Have sufficient sales acumen to represent the firm appropriately with teaming partners and subcontractors.
    • Track and trend the quality of their individual performance, products and services in order to strive for continuous improvement.
    • Support Business Development and operational personnel in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.
    • Manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously.
    • Knowledge/data management with CRM database

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • A. or B.S. in Liberal Arts or equivalent experience required.
    • 5 years of experience personally producing proposals and managing proposal efforts.
    • Extensive experience with Federal SF 330 and Best Value proposals, and other state/local formats.
    • Must have extensive MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign experience. Other graphics software and CRM database experience is also desired.
    • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
    • Effective project management skills, including planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and prior experience leading multi-disciplinary teams


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Shipley / APMP Best Practices training and/or certification
