    Dewberry has an Entry Level Electrical Engineer opening starting in June, 2019 in our New York, NY office with 0 to 2 years of design experience in electrical light and power and HVAC systems and fire alarm systems, for commercial, industrial and institutional facilities, bridges, highways and toll plazas. Selected candidate will receive on the job-related training, under supervision of a Senior Electrical Engineer.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree, form an ABET accredited university; EIT preferred
    • Experience in related electrical engineering design, preferred.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
    • Ability to coordinate the work of multiple disciplines.
    • Conduct site visits, field inspections and prepare assessment reports of electrical systems.
    • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD required.
    • Will train on other CAD systems such as MicroStation, etc. as required by Dewberry’s clients.
    • Will train on other electrical engineering software’s such as Visual, Lumen Micro, SKM Dapper, etc. as required by Dewberry’s clients. Ability to learn and apply these software’s is required.
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel required.
    • A valid driver’s license is required.
