    Structural Project Engineer – Building Design

     

    Dewberry is currently seeking a Structural Project Engineer for its New York, NY office.  The candidate will work on a wide variety of projects including schools, health care centers, Higher Education facilities, office buildings, industrial buildings, commercial buildings, structural evaluations and civil/site structures and water/wastewater treatment facilities and rail facilities.  Individuals will perform complex building analysis on all design phases, structural modeling, structural calculation, and plan production.

    Responsibilities

    • Assigns tasks to and coordinates with entry-level engineers, technicians or administrative staff.
    • Assists in determining schedule and budget requirements.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil (MSCE preferred), with a focus in Structural Engineering or related field is required.

    • 3 -5 years of structural design experience

    • NYS EIT is required

    • Knowledge of Revit, CAD programs and structural design software is preferred.

    • Solid verbal and written communication skills are required.

    • Proficiency in MS Office software.

    • Ability to work in a team environment.
