    Dewberry is currently seeking a Recruiting Administrative Assistant to join the Human Resources Department of an Architectural/Engineering firm. This position is based in our Corporate offices in Fairfax, Virginia.  This is an excellent opportunity for an exceedingly motivated and hard-working individual to take on a challenging and exciting role in a fast paced environment. 




    The Recruiting Administrative Assistant  provides support services to the in-house recruiting team by executing various administrative activities. The following tasks include but are not limited to:


    • Offer letter preparation and distribution
    • Update candidate status within internal HRIS
    • Conduct background screens (driving, criminal, etc.)
    • Distributes and collects new hire paperwork
    • Reviews and files new hire paperwork within internal file database
    • Assist recruiting team with scheduling on- site candidate interviews
    • Process candidate travel reimbursement requests
    • Process external shipping requests for Human Resources department

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • 2 + years of experience as a  recruiting administrative assistant or supporting a Human Resources team
    • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • Exceptional problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
