    Dewberry’s Tallahassee, FL office is seeking a Transportation Group Leader to provide overall leadership and effectively manage the activities of the North Florida Transportation Engineering Group. These activities include providing the necessary planning services and engineering design resources to ensure the profitable completion of projects while meeting client quality, cost and schedule requirements. The Transportation Group Leader will be responsible for coordinating transportation sales and marketing resources for our North Florida business units in order to meet new business goals as established for the region.


    This leadership position is responsible for providing oversight and guidance to team leaders, project managers, planners, engineers and CADD staff within the transportation group. Also responsible for project management, client relations, and sales activities.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • BS in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
    • 15+ years of progressive experience in the design of highways and roads in Florida.
    • Professional Engineer in FL.
    • Extensive experience with Florida DOT.
    • A successful track record of managing projects, including scope, schedule and budget.
    • Strong client management and new business development skills.
    • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
