    Dewberry's Raleigh, NC office is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer who is looking for an opportunity to lead a group of design and engineering professionals.  Our growing, fast-paced site/civil/telecommunications engineering department seeks a client focused, highly motivated, organized, outgoing engineer. This position is responsible for directing staff, conducting field visits and client meetings, preparing facility designs with the team, coordinating with other departments, and tracking the progress of projects.  Responsibilities also include contact with clients, keeping them appraised of progress of work through progress reports and schedule updates.  Construction supervision and telecom facilities design experience would be an asset.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
    • PE/EIT is preferred.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.
    • 6-10 years of progressive design experience directly related to telecom projects.
    • Proven track record of meeting project and client deadlines.
    • Works in a timely fashion to meet project budgets.
    • Communicates effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and review agency staff.
    • Composes technical reports, memorandums and other written communication such as email.
    • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects.
