    Dewberry Engineers is seeking a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study Transportation Planner/Engineer for our Orlando, FL or Tampa, FL office.  This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to help expand a PD&E practice within a well established firm.


    • Primary responsibility is the successful management of FDOT PD&E Studies for transportation projects throughout the State.
    • Coordinate with FDOT as well as consultants, permitting agencies, and local governments.
    • Support effective public involvement during the PD&E process.
    • Prepare project documentation.
    • Business development activities related to the pursuit of PD&E Studies; including marketing of clients, proposal preparation and presentations.

    Required Skills & Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, or related field.
    • 4-8 years of applicable experience.
    • Florida PE or AICP preferred.
    • NEPA experience.
    • Experience with FDOT.
