Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a CPM Construction Scheduler (Part Time) for its Rancho Cordova, CA office.

  • Prepare and maintain CPM schedules for the construction management (CM) group
  • Develop and review contractor-submitted project baselines, monitor and track construction progress of monthly CPM schedule updates
  • Support CM projects in all other aspects of scheduling analysis and special studies
  • Compare and analyze monthly CPM schedule updates using schedule comparison software
  • Prepare and review TIA’s and narrative reports
  • Provide dispute resolution and claims support to CM projects
  • Prepare baseline CPM schedules for CM pursuit proposals

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of CPM scheduling experience in California heavy highway/bridge construction
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the field of Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • Expert level proficiency in Oracle Primavera (P6) and Claim Digger or similar third-party schedule comparison software add-on
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Caltrans scheduling specifications
  • Experience with writing position papers and presentations in DRB hearings
  • Demonstrated history of developing and analyzing CPM schedules, preferably as both a Contractor and an owner’s representative
  • Proven track record in facilitating claim prevention

Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
