Dewberry is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern to work on a variety of projects in our Denver, CO office for Summer 2025. Responsibilities

  • Assist with designing water collection, storage and distribution systems as well as water treatment systems.
  • Assist with designing wastewater collection and transmission systems
  • Provide support conducting alternative technology evaluations.
  • Help with performing hydraulic modeling, prepare specifications and design calculations and prepare technical memoranda.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering is required.

  • Previous internship experience in a related field is strongly preferred.

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment and posses excellent interpersonal skills.

The hourly range for this position is $17.20-$28.20.

Program Information

Summer Intern Program
During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.

 

Our interns get the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops and events, including:
- Networking opportunities to meet other interns, staff, and senior leaders across the business.

- Professional development workshops, including a career planning workshop and a DiSC assessment to learn more about themselves and how to work effectively with others.

- Summer-long group project where interns work alongside firm leaders to address issues that will impact our future strategy.
