This position will focus on leading the development of climate adaptation and hazard mitigation strategies for waterfront and infrastructure projects. This role will support a national portfolio of Dewberry clients in the Federal, State, local, and commercial space. The candidate will lead the development of solutions to mitigate climate-exacerbated natural hazards for an array of project types, over their useful life. The candidate will work within multi-disciplinary teams as a subject matter expert to quantify design loads from multiple climate stressors and develop design strategies to address those loads. Strategies may include nature-based, hybrid, and gray infrastructure solutions. Candidates should have experience with the entire project lifespan from concept design through permitting and construction.
