Job Description

Our Dewberry Pennsylvania offices are seeking a Highway Project Engineer/Manager. We are open to Pittsburgh, Mechanicsburg and Philadelphia Offices.  We are looking for you to have experience working on PennDOT and/or PA Turnpike Commission projects.  You'll get to use your experience in Project Management and consulting with in-depth in the design of highways and roads to execute work and to supervising staff in document production, monitoring budgets and schedules, marketing new projects, preparing proposals, and interfacing regularly with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all staff necessary to complete assignments
  • Monitor budgets and schedules
  • Prepare proposals to provide professional services

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering is required
  • Registered Professional Engineer in PA
  • Experience in highway design to include
    • Horizontal and vertical alignments
    • Drainage design
    • Erosion and sediment pollution control design
    • Stormwater management design
    • Pavement design
    • Traffic engineering
    • Experience with MicroStation and InRoads/OpenRoads
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
