Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Part-time Water Group Business Analyst I for our Manteca, California office. This position will support the Northern California Water Group and will involve reporting, data base creation, and analytics to support and assist the engineering staff with project deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative technical support to professional and technical staff.  More specifically the position shall provide direct assistance to the Associate Vice President/Director of the Northern California Water Group.
  • Preparation/updating of technical memoranda/reports including research previous documents and obtaining information from staff for tables, exhibits/drawings, appendix info, etc.
  • Produce final reports utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, and other software.
  • Create, edit, and maintain spreadsheets to document workflow, and track, analyze and report metrics, data and trends.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and narrative information for management or reports.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • 3+ years of administrative and reporting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience developing models, spreadsheets, and reports to support project deliverables  
  • Expert level knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while following instructions to perform the functions of the job
  • Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels

Salary Range

 

The projected range for this position is $20-$30 hourly. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
