Job Description

Dewberry is seeking talented and motivated engineering students for our 2025 Summer Transportation Internship Program in our Orlando, FL office. Our summer internship program provides students the opportunity to gain varied experience in multiple transportation disciplines as they rotate through our roadway, drainage, structures, and traffic design groups. If selected, you will work on high-profile transportation projects, go on site visits to see the real-world impacts of our projects, learn from experienced engineers, and build great relationships with the 2025 summer internship class.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and evaluating engineering solutions
  • Preparing design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, engineering reports, and plans
  • Collaborating with multiple disciplines to meet project requirements and quality standards
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (emphasis in transportation preferred)
  • Previous internship experience is a plus
  • Experience using CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
  • Strong desire to learn from an outstanding team of industry-leading professionals
