Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Site Acquisition Specialist for our Real Estate and Commercial Development team. The ideal candidate would be in Danville, VA. We are open to remote candidates who meet the position criteria.

 

Our growing, fast-paced market segment focused on Real Estate and Commercial Development is seeking a client-focused, highly motivated and organized individual with outstanding written and spoken communication skills and specific attention to detail.  The Senior Site Acquisition Specialist is responsible for various lines of work including permitting, easement/lease review, utility modifications, new build and renovation projects, site, and various real estate-related projects. These include new site builds, site modifications, and other entitlement services associated with various projects. The role requires tracking project deliverables schedules & financials and oversees projections for timely achievement of milestone complete dates.

Responsibilities

The Senior Site Acquisition Specialist should have a strong understanding of industry and skills working on projects in a team environment in the Real Estate and Commercial Development market segment. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with Dewberry’s multi-disciplinary teams on our projects, tracking projects and reporting schedules and forecasts of tasks on a site-by-site basis for our clients.

 

The successful candidate will report to one of our Program Managers and be responsible for successful execution of site-specific services, client satisfaction, project delivery, technical quality, and coordinating site services within an established network of offices. The candidate will have access to corporate technical expertise and resources in addition to the demonstrated subject matter experts on our experienced team. 

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • BS degree preferred and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interest in working for Commercial clients delivering integrated services required. 
  • Candidates with a strong understanding and experience working in a collaborative manner are desired.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skills using Microsoft programs including excel, word and power point are required.
  • A willingness to learn and expand your knowledge in real estate, advanced technical programs and business is essential.
