Location of the selected person is flexible; however, Virginia, North Carolina, or Florida offices are preferred.
The candidate will collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists, planners, and data scientists in our Resilience Solutions Group. This group has delivered award-winning products for a wide range of projects in the resilience space. The candidate will have the opportunity to apply their skillset to efforts that encompass numerical and geospatial modeling of hazards, coastal processes including episodic and long-term erosion, future condition assessments, including sea level rise, evaluation of flood reduction concepts, analytical approaches and product development to support hazard awareness, risk assessment, and resilience planning. The New York Area Manager will be primarily responsible for the strategic development, growth and overall operational performance of Dewberry in New York, one of the enterprise’s most important geographic markets. Priority will be on building capacity and talent and growing the client base in market segments and service lines: Transportation, Water/Wastewater, Community Facilities, Education, Energy and Building Systems.
The successful candidate will be a Professional Engineer with a diverse engineering background and evidence of strong advancement in management responsibilities. The candidate will have clearly demonstrated expertise and success in leading and motivating sizeable multi-disciplinary teams, developing and executing client and business development strategies that drive revenue and profit margin growth, and collaborating well with internal and external partners.
