We are seeking a Deputy Project Manager who is looking for an opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility, in our Raleigh or Charlotte, NC; Richmond, VA; or Orlando, FL offices. Our growing, fast-paced site/civil engineering practice seeks a client focused, highly motivated, organized engineer. The Deputy Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager with managing client relationships, managing project financials, conducting site visits, and consult on business development related needs. Projects will include the design of a wide variety of site/civil projects, with initial focus on land development projects within the Energy Market Segment.  The types of Energy Projects anticipated are linear (overhead and underground transmission and distribution) as well as site (substation). Tasks will include permitting, site layout and development, grading and erosion control, drainage and stormwater management design, development of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and public outreach. Knowledge of industry standards and proven ability regarding site development drawing production required.
