The NJ Operations of Dewberry is looking for a RegionalTraffic Engineering Manager with a BS in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering and at least 15-20 years of experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering to oversee and direct the work of their existing engineering professionals in Dewberry’s NE region and help grow traffic capabilities.    Qualified candidates should have a familiarity with MUTCD and AASHTO; HCM and HCS; Synchro/Sim Traffic Software and similar analysis tools; Traffic Signal design; Roadway Lighting design; NJDOT, NJTA and NY City and State agencies design standards and practices; and transportation and land use reviews applicable to land development projects.  Candidate will also need the ability to prepare traffic impact studies; develop and assess design and/or operational alternatives; and develop Transportation Management Plans (TMPs) in accordance with local, state and federal policies and requirements. Experience is required in project management and budgeting, preparing technical and cost proposals, and understanding of QA/QC procedures.
